Sports fans on the Avalon will have a chance to give back to a worthy cause while enjoying the good-ol-hockey game.
A new partnership between VOCM and the Newfoundland Growlers aims to raise funds and awareness for cancer support services, and will be highlighted today during the “VOCM presents Growlers Fight Cancer” game.
Attendees to the game on this Sunday at 4pm will have the opportunity to purchase tickets using a special code. A portion of the proceeds from these ticket sales will go directly to Daffodil Place and the “One Night Stand Against Cancer” campaign.
