Outgoing PC MHA David Brazil is reflecting on how some of the work he has done over his career has impacted veterans.
Brazil announced yesterday that on December 29th he will be stepping away from politics to focus on his health.
When asked about highlights of his 13 years as an elected official, he pointed to six schools he has been a part of building, and improvements to ferry services to Bell Island.
Brazil reflects on one particular aspect as it relates to Remembrance Day, that being the naming of The Legionnaire and The Veteran. He says the joy he saw on veterans’ faces when they announced the names speaks volumes to the little things politicians can do to help.
