The results of the province’s recent school bus inspections are available online.
Inspections carried out between June 1st and November 3rd of this year resulted in a 94 per cent pass rate according to government.
A school bus was pulled out of service soon after the new school year began, while in the House of Assembly last week, Service NL Minister Sarah Stoodley was accused of not ensuring that school bus inspections were completed due to a lack of staff.
The minister says school buses are inspected before school starts in September, and more inspections are carried out over the remainder of the school year.
