Registration for Cain’s Quest, billed as the toughest snowmobile endurance race, is reopening for a limited time.
Last year’s race was abruptly cancelled for safety reasons after an unusual late-winter thaw.
Cain’s Quest is normally held every two years, but organizers decided to try running it again this year on an accelerated planning schedule because of the interruption in last year’s race.
A one-week registration window will open on Monday, November 6 and continue though to November 13. Organizers say that will allow those who missed registration earlier this year to get a chance to join the race in March.
