CFIB Calls for Change from Municipal Governments Following Worrying Atlantic Report

The Canadian Federation of Independent Business is calling for change in light of a new report that finds small businesses in Atlantic Canada feel neglected by their municipal governments.

The CFIB wants more business-friendly policies to be implemented by municipalities in the region.

The Atlantic Municipal Report shows that 59 per cent of respondents indicated they would be unsure about recommending starting a business in the town or city where they live.

He says their main takeaway is that many business owners do not believe their municipalities prioritize their needs, and want policies that will help them run their businesses and build their communities.
