The first snowfall of the season for Newfoundland is expected late tomorrow night and into Tuesday.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for most of the island, except for the Northern Peninsula.
About 5 cm of snow is possible for some areas into Tuesday morning.
Environment Canada says that accumulating snow will make roadways difficult to navigate, and drivers should be prepared for winter weather.
