Premier Andrew Furey is in Halifax for the next couple of days to meet with his Atlantic Canadian counterparts.
The four premiers are meeting today and tomorrow to discuss issues such as housing and infrastructure, but a lot of their time will be devoted to health care.
A Health Summit will take place on Monday to discuss innovation and improvement of health care throughout the region.
