Global Affairs Canada is urging all Canadians to avoid all non-essential travel to Lebanon in light of increasing violence in that area of the Middle East.
Julie Sunday provided the update this afternoon.
“Yesterday, we further updated our advice to advise Canadians to not travel any further south than the Litani River due to violence clashes along the border with Israel. I cannot emphasis enough that this is our best advice to Canadians…and we encourage them to take this very seriously.”
