The community is rallying around a well-known local musician who suffered a serious medical emergency in June.
Mark Bragg is on the road to recovery after suffering a brain bleed just days after the release of his latest EP Ashes.
Manager Tamara Kater says he was hospitalized for four months and while he’s in rehabilitation and on the road to recovery, serious challenges remain.
She says he’s regaining his movement so he can play piano and “do all the Mark Bragg things that he loves to do.” She says friends got together to get him a keyboard so he can play again while recuperating.
Kater says two fundraising concerts were announced last week, both of which are sold out, and a third Bragg-aroo show is now confirmed for December 27. She’s overwhelmed with the support shown to date.
“This show that we’ve put together for him” says Kater, “has just been an outpouring of love and support…it’s just been amazing.”
