A 50-year-old man was taken to hospital for injuries suffered in a workplace incident at a site on Torbay Road in St. John’s.
The RNC say the call came in just before 10:00 this morning.
The worker’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The cause of the incident is under investigation by RNC and Occupational Health and Safety.
