Numerous reports confirmed an accident near the outer ring road Torbay turnoff in St. John’s on Saturday morning.
Emergency crews, including a heavy police presence and the local fire department, were on the scene of what was described as a vehicle flipped over in the middle of the roadway.
Traffic was directed to one lane as crews assessed the scene and cleared debris.
The province was hit with some wet and miserable weather on this Remembrance Day, leading to less than ideal driving conditions for the morning commute.
