A Newfoundlander is one of five selections honoured by Curling Canada for giving back to their communities.
Simon Perry of Portugal Cove-St. Philip’s was one of five people to receive the Fran Todd All Heart Juinor Curler Award, which acknowledges those whose efforts in outreach curling programs embody the values of curling and place the highest priorities on fair play, respect and inclusivity.
Each recipient receives $2,500 to cover expenses and other costs.
