Police are searching for a wanted man in connection with an incident this past weekend in the Metro region.
RNC are asking for the public’s help in their search for 26-year-old Kordell Dixon.
On Saturday around 4:15 a.m., police were called to a home in Mount Pearl where a 25-year-old woman had been assaulted after a man broke into the residence. The incident happened around 1:00 a.m. The woman was sent to hospital.
The man was known to the occupants of the house and left before police arrived.
As a result of the investigation, RNC are looking to arrest Dixon on charges of sexual assault, break and enter, assault with a weapon. forcible confinement, failure to comply with a release order and failure to comply with a family violence protection order.
He’s believed to be driving a 2010 black Honda Crossover, licence plate number JJJ 946, last seen in downtown St. John’s. He’s described as heavy set and six feet tall with dark hair.
Anyone with information or video footage in the area of Topsail Road in Mount Pearl after midnight on Saturday is asked to contact RNC or Crime Stoppers.
