Quinlan Brothers and Grieg Seafood are celebrating their new partnership in the processing of farmed salmon with an event tomorrow.
Quinlan Brothers received $6 million in government funding for the purchase and installation of “state-of-the-art” robotics and automated mechanical systems for salmon processing.
Grieg announced earlier this year that it had reached an agreement with Quinlan’s to process the first farmed salmon harvested from its facility in Marystown.

An event is planned at Quinlan’s Bay de Verde plant tomorrow to show off the new facility and celebrate the arrangement.
Quinlan’s literally rose from the ashes following a devastating fire that destroyed its processing facility in 2016.
