Some people in Pouch Cove on the town water system are exasperated with boil orders and poor and discoloured water, a problem which seems to linger.
The town says the problem is with its water treatment plant, which has limited treatment capabilities to filter out impurities such as iron and manganese.
Council says it is currently reviewing the recommended corrective measures as quickly and efficiently as possible. It assures residents that it is diligently working towards the best solution and will update them as frequently as possible.
There is no issue with the ability to meet current or future development demands according to the town.
