RNC arrested a 28-year-old Torbay man following a crash in the capital city’s east end yesterday afternoon.
Police received reports of a possible impaired driving traveling north on Torbay Road around 3:00 a.m. yesterday afternoon.
Officers were informed while responding to the call that the suspect vehicle, a white, box-style van, had been involved in a multiple vehicle crash in the area of Stavanger Drive and left the scene.
The van, with a flat tire, was located driving along White Rose Drive. It was blocked-in by patrol cars and the driver was arrested.
He’s been charged with failing to remain at the scene of a crash, impaired driving, refusal and resisting arrest.
