One of the most familiar sites of Christmas has been launched at the Murray Premises downtown St. John’s.
The Salvation Army kicked off Christmas Kettle campaign last night.
Major Jamie Locke says as we celebrate the Christmas season, it’s important to keep in mind the reality that we have many people who do without.
Major Locke says the money collected from the kettles stays in the area.
They run a feeding program at the Ches Penney Family YMCA as well as other programs.
You don’t have to have cash as they are equipped with other forms of payment options.
