Police were called to the west end of St. John’s after a woman refused to pay her taxi fare.
The incident happened at about 9:30 p.m. The RNC charged her with fraudulently obtaining transportation, assault and breach of court orders.
The 42-year-old was taken to the lockup for a court appearance today.
